I've been playing TF2 for about 1 yr now and everywhere I look, people think that COD is the worst franchise ever, recycles everything, and is full of mic eating 8 year olds and if you argue with them they accuse you of being a COD fanboy. On the other hand there are COD players that also play TF2 and are not afraid to admit it. They are 2 different games, COD is more realistic while the Team Fortress franchise is more cartooney, it is like comparing Gran Turismo and Need for Speed and the fanboys who are still sucking on the tit of Gabe Newell can't admit that.
most of those people cant quickscope cod is fun it just gets boring when u play it for months on end just like any other game once you get really good its only fun for so long. my advice is just ignore those statements and play whatever the hell you want to.
I think as you grow up, video games become less appealing because your slowly maturing and becoming a part of society, and people get mad at the 10 yr olds because they end up enjoying the game more than you do, because they don't have to get a job or finish college yet, its more or less a vicious cycle, there is no room for maturity in videogames 99% of them are about killing hookers or blowing ppl up with grenades or killing people with sharp objects and shit, If you wana enjoy videogames forever, don't grow up. leave the 10 yr olds alone let them enjoy call of duty and grand theft auto b4 they have to start working for a living and become the boring law abiding trash that this generation is becoming.(yes that includes myself ) when they grow up they will be bitching at the next generation of 10 yr olds, cause your supposed to have a deep voice and a functioning pair of testicles at that age for sum reason? it just dosn't make sense to me.
