I disagree with the majority of these. The others I only slightly agree with.
•Noteblockplayer in pokemon gym not needed - Pokemon triggers me recently
•Pvp Guild hall NPCs not needed. - No real purpose at the moment
•Vehicles should be disabled. - I really like them but I don't think anybody really uses them and theres a large amount of forgotten vehicles
•Zombie Pigman farm in minas is not needed - Far enough away from spawn to not really have any effect, plus its a rather small spawner
•Music store in minas is not needed - It's just sign shops, far away from spawn
•Party Commands plugin should be disabled - Absolutely no reason at all to disable these
•Nearly all NPCs are useless. - Yes a lot of them are useless but there's also a lot that actually have a purpose if you talk to them/explore
•Plots are still broken - Mines working fine
•Tons of warps aren't useful - true, but it doesn't really effect anything other than /warps chat spam
•Events machine is a good effort from the creators , but i don't think it's good for performance. - I don't think it really effects anythng
I've played here for years and never really had any complaints performance wise, but maybe that's just me.
If you'd really like the server to perform better, you can always consider donating. Astr1al hosts the server out of his own pocket for your entertainment, and has put a TON of work into Alanthya.
I'm only trying to help the server reach a better performance and a larger community.
As for performance issues , Peri i've seen alot of people complaining about lag on spawn.
You also can't sell plots (atleast in enderville).
I might donate in the near future again and would like to help even more.
Oh of course, I understand that, thats why I suggested setting up a multiverse without all of the extra stuff that the main world had, that alone should fix the majority of FPS issues.
As for general server performance that can really only be fixed by upgrading hardware, or removing plugins that make Alanthya what it is.. And I'm well aware that spawn is laggy, its the only place I have FPS issues, tolerable ones at that.
But I get where you're coming from. I built a hub type thing awhile back to try and help out with new players first impressions but I don't think it ever really got much use.
